Creating Pathways to Safety, Stability, & Opportunity

Our services help immigrants and families believe in their ability to succeed.

What We Do

Health & Safety

Arrived empowers clients to protect and promote their safety, health, and wellness.

Economic Mobility

Arrived helps job seekers to prepare for, find, and keep living-wage employment, regardless of where they’re starting from.

Legal Navigation

Arrived helps immigrants understand their rights, navigate the immigration system, and access the protection they need to build a future here.

Our Approach

At Arrived, self-efficacy is our north star. We don't just deliver services; we partner with immigrants to build the skills and confidence to thrive on their own terms. We treat the whole person across interconnected needs so that progress in one area reinforces progress in another. Our services are culturally and linguistically appropriate and delivered by staff who are largely former clients themselves.

Our Impact

Every milestone matters. From a first job to a first home, Arrived celebrates the moments that mark a family's journey toward safety, stability, and opportunity. After working with Arrived for just 6 to 9 months, clients reported the following gains:

0
%

of clients say they can find housing that meets their needs

0
%

say they know how to see a doctors when they’re sick

0
%

of clients say they feel less afraid and more hopeful

0
%

of clients say they have met more people they can ask for help

0
%

say they are better able to work with their immigration attorney

Rooted in Lived Experience

  • Programs & Services
AsylumWorks is proud to employ staff who hail from the same newcomer communities we serve. To ensure our work remains informed by those with lived experience, we have established a one-year “fellowship” training program that develops bilingual newcomers into therapeutic case managers.
  • Programs & Services
During this year, fellows gain professional skills needed to provide specialized support to AsylumWorks clients while establishing new career pathways for themselves. They receive intensive training and weekly supervision from licensed social workers. Upon completion, graduates are quickly hired by local organizations, including AsylumWorks. In 2023, the U.S. Office of Refugee Resettlement recognized our training program as a national best practice, encouraging other organizations across the country to adopt our model.
  • Programs & Services
“I have always advocated for helping people back home but AsylumWorks’ training program taught me how I could help others in the U.S. I can honestly say this experience has changed my life for the better.”
